What you see
Pages load slowly, or video stutters, while Potatso is connected.
Likely causes
Speed depends mostly on the server you use, how far away it is, and how busy it is. A slow network also makes the connection slow, with or without the VPN.
What to try
- Pick a server closer to you, or an automatic group that picks the fastest server for you.
- Compare your servers with Speed Test. Speed Test shows every server's latency so you can compare them. It's a Pro feature.
- Compare with the VPN off. If it's slow then too, the cause is your network.
To see the advice in the app, open Settings > Troubleshooting and tap Slow or Unstable. Check Internet Access on that page runs the no internet check, which tests your network, the VPN, your server and DNS.
Contact support
If it's slow only with Potatso and every server, tap Send Report on the Slow or Unstable page. Potatso opens an email to support with recent logs and your configuration attached.
