What Potatso imports

Potatso brings in the parts of a Clash or Mihomo configuration that decide how your traffic is routed:

• Proxies, including Shadowsocks, VLESS, VMess, Trojan, Hysteria2, AnyTLS and more
• Proxy groups, chosen manually or automatically
• Rules and rule sets
• DNS settings, including DNS over HTTPS and DNS over TLS

Subscriptions that stay up to date

Add a subscription URL and Potatso keeps it updated automatically. Changes you make locally to a subscribed configuration are kept when the subscription refreshes.

Remote resources such as rule sets update on their own as well.

Not only Clash

Potatso also imports V2Ray / Xray and Surge configurations, share links, files and QR codes. Before anything is saved, the import preview shows what is compatible and what is not.

Supported protocols

Shadowsocks, ShadowsocksR, HTTP(S), SOCKS5 (including TLS), VLESS (including Reality), VMess, Trojan, Hysteria2, AnyTLS and Snell.

TUIC links can be read, but TUIC servers cannot be used yet.

Import a Clash config in three steps

1. Install Potatso from the App Store.
2. Add your subscription URL, open your YAML file, or scan a QR code.
3. Review the import preview, then connect and pick Rule, Global or Direct mode.

Questions people ask

Is Potatso a Clash client?

Potatso is an independent app that is compatible with Clash and Mihomo configurations. Your existing YAML and subscriptions work without conversion.

Does Potatso provide servers?

No. You bring your own servers or a subscription from a provider you choose.

Is every Mihomo option supported?

Not every option. Proxies, proxy groups, rules and DNS settings are imported, and the import preview lists anything Potatso cannot use before you save the profile.
